The Elkhart Rotary Club has a proud history of making a positive impact in day to day lives of the people from the city with a heart. Childhood poverty, family needs and the demand for food continues to be exceptionally high in our community.  More than ever our Elkhart neighbors are relying on our annual campaign for the Salvation Army.

Our 2012 fundraising goal is $65,000. With your help we will continue to raise the largest contribution of the Elkhart Salvation Army’s Christmas “Tree of Lights” campaign.  The Noon Elkhart Rotary Club is consistently recognized by the Salvation Army for our outstanding efforts and contributions to the Annual Tree of Lights Campaign.  We are extremely grateful to have generous members who annually donate large gifts of $1,000 or more.  Equally important, we strive for 100% support from all of our members.  To achieve our goal each Rotarian is expected to contribute $180 to the campaign.  We will reach our goal with the weekly “best of sergeant fines” starting November 19th through December and wrapping up mid January.  Other fundraising projects to participate in are bell-ringing, the Gala dinner dance at the Lerner Theatre, Friday night bar hop caroling, basket stuffing and most important; our individual contributions.

You may bring your contribution to a Monday Rotary Club meeting or simply mail your contribution to:  Elkhart Rotary Club, PO Box 933, Elkhart, IN 46515. Make your check payable to:  Elkhart Rotary Charities. It would be most appreciated if you could make a special effort to return your gift by Monday, December 20th.

Tis the season to give, may you and your family receive a special blessing as you generously participate in this worthy Elkhart Rotary project.  Should you have any questions please contact Mike Lobeck or Ann McCuistion

Merry Christmas,
