This photo was taken at the October 22, 2010, District Rotary Foundation Meeting in Ft. Wayne when Past Rotary International President Wilfrid J. Wilkinson was the honored and featured guest.
I would like to thank District Governor Steve Van Scoik for making these arrangements. It truly was a memorable evening. He shared some of his adventures as a Rotarian.
Wilf Wilkinson has been a Rotarian since 1962 and has been a resident and member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Trenton, Ontario. He has a very distinguished career with Rotary. He has served as District Governor, 71-72; Director-Rotary International 92-94; Trustee of the Rotary Foundation, 1997-2001 and in 2002-2004; Chair of 100th Anniversary-2005 Chicago Convention Committee; 2007-2008 Rotary International President.
He is a retired charter accountant and was a founding partner of Wilkinson and Company, a public accounting firm in Trenton, Ontario. He and his wife, Joan, have four sons and 8 grandchildren.
I would encourage us all to become involved as a Paul Harris Fellow. The work Rotary does around the world is incredible.
