Announcements were made by:

Terri Rickel – Volunteer Thank-You Event to be held Friday, August 26, at Wellfield Gardens, 6:00 - 7:30.   This year, courtesy of Lindahl Photography studio located at 800 W. Beardsley Avenue, Elkhart, we will be taking a group volunteer photo at 6:15, Friday evening.   We would like to see a "sea of green volunteer shirts/or blue shirts for WBG volunteers", in the photo.  So if you can, please wear you volunteer shirt.  If you are going to pick-up your shirt Friday night, I will have it ready for you to slip on for the picture.  Since we have other activities during the evening, including announcements, music, and food, we ask if you want to be part of this Volunteer Thank-You Photo, please arrive at the gardens by 6:00, so we are all in place in time for the photo at 6:15.

Rebecca Kuiken – On September 25 from 3-6 p.m. there will be a Rotary Cruise on the River Queen, see Rebecca for more info!

Eric Garton reminded everyone about parking for Taste of the Gardens on Saturday - - as the streets will be open, please plan accordingly – Parking for volunteers will be available at the Wellfield Administration Parking Lot as well as on neighborhood streets. Plan accordingly, give yourself plenty of time, or even plan to have someone drop you off.

Sergeant Meghann Sullivan extracted some fines from members, all going to a great cause. Brian Housand paid for correcting the Sergeant, Scott Franko for his anniversary, and fines were given to those who hadn’t purchased their TASTE tickets yet and/or who were unaware of TASTE information for Saturday.
