Today's speaker was Brent Hoober, Owner of the newest Rise'n Roll franchise in Elkhart - - just across the street from the Matterhorn on Cassopolis Street. Brent provided background on Rise'n Roll, how he became involved in the company through his franchise, and discussed (whether appropriately described or not) the legend of "Amish Crack", which are delivered fresh EVERY morning to Rise'n Rolls across the region from their central processing facility located in Middlebury. A little more info about Rise'n Roll:

  • Mission Statement - Satisfied customers are our passion. Rise’n Roll will deliver uncompromising quality in food and service. We will provide excellence, one customer at a time. Our dedicated employees will reflect our commitment to integrity and teamwork.
  • Rise'n Roll Story: In 2001, a young Amish couple established a bakery. These high quality baked goods, sold from their front porch at the time, gained a reputation for being high quality, preservative free, and amazingly delicious! In 2004, a small store front was established, and it was clear that, as the word began to spread, this was a product that was going to continue to grow in popularity! By 2008, they had outgrown this smaller facility, and it was again time to move. In early 2009, the young Amish couple decided to sell their business to a non-Amish family and moved it to a new facility. Then, in 2012 Rise’n Roll Bakery sold its first franchise, and a Nappanee location was opened. In 2013, the decision to continue with more franchises was made. In November 2014, a third store was opened in Southwest Fort Wayne. A fourth location quickly followed, opening in Mishawaka in May 2015. Quality is our first priority which we couple with excellent customer service to equal the Rise’n Roll way. We promise happiness in every bite!
