The Elkhart Rotary Club Meeting on October 8, 2018 featured two NEW Members, Paul Harris Fellowship awards, and a great presentation by NIBCO CEO Rex Martin.
 
President Pete Norton opened the meeting, welcoming Fran Conner to provide inspirational words and lead the Pledge and Four Way Test.
 
The Club had a large number of guests today, introduced by Kathy Geiger: Visiting Rotarians Judy Jankowski (South Bend) Becky Fletcher (South Bend) and Tammy Friesen (Goshen), along with Honorary Rotarian Art Decio. Aileac Deegan presented new Elkhart Rotary Club Memberships to Aaron Clow and Jason Bryant. Welcome to the Club, Aaron and Jason!
Today’s Sergeant was Bob Shultz, who raised funds through fun fines issued to our club members. Fines raised at meetings throughout the year totaling approximately $10,000 support local not-for-profits through grants awarded in the spring. 
 
Today’s meeting featured Rex Martin, CEO of NIBCO. Rex provided a terrific overview of the company, from its humble beginning to how they have innovated technology leading NIBCO to the forefront of the flow control industry – and how Rex is doing his part to keep them ‘ahead of the flow’.
