Amish Shah - CEO, Kem Krest

For more than 20 years, Amish Shah has focused on making Northern Indiana a better place to live and work.  Amish began his career at Kem Krest in 1996, and has been the CEO since 2008.  Under his leadership, Kem Krest has grown to become a $500+ million company that services Fortune 100 companies globally.  Amish is also a board member and co-owner of ESGI (“Educational Software for Guiding Instruction”), a second stage education technology company focused on early literacy.
 
Amish has been recognized for his entrepreneurial talent and philanthropic work in a  variety of ways, most recently as the Mendoza College of Business “Commitment to Michiana” 2018 honoree.  Amish currently serves on the GM Supplier Diversity Council, the YPO Mid-America US Region Board, the IUSB Chancellor’s Advisory Board, the Beacon Health Board of Directors, the Junior Achievement Lemonade Day serving Elkhart County Board of Directors, the South Bend–Elkhart Regional Development Authority Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and the Lake Forest Academy Board of Trustees. Additionally, Amish is very active in community and regional development through many projects and ad-hoc councils. He is particularly passionate about building the next generation of entrepreneurs in Elkhart County. 
 
Amish and his wife Amy, daughter Maya, and sons Samuel, Charlie and William live in Elkhart County, where Shah was born. Amish holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
